Reading Value

 


Reading is a very useful hobby. It helps us spend our leisure time in a useful manner. Books can be regarded as our friends. “Reading makes a full man,” said Francis Bacon.

I’m a member of the school library. I borrow two books at a time. One of them is a Sinhala book and the other one is an English book. I can keep them for a period of two weeks.

We get pleasure by reading novels and short stories. We can learn good qualities of great persons by reading their biographies. We can improve our knowledge by reading novels, short stories, magazines and newspapers. It is said that knowledge is power. The best way to gain knowledge is by reading books.

  Making dreams come true is not always easy...  but, if you make those dreams come true somehow, Those dreams are beautiful.... Not all success is achieved through a flower pot....  There are many obstacles and difficulties behind that success... The victory through sacrifice is Priceless.... So think positive.... Never give up on their dreams and endeavors....

💖An Unforgettable day in my life 💖

  It was an amazing moment.....😍😍                                                            Won the first place in the all island Dance competition in July 2017 on a beautiful day. I was lucky enough to win the first place in the low country dance "shuddha maathraya" solo Competition. The moment was like a dream to me. It was due to day of hard work, dedication, interest and skill of my dancing teacher's the I got that victory. we arrived in Colombo by bus from as far away as HAMBANTOTA at it's one o'clock in the morning. we had not a place to stay at night. we got a room for rent.
